What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help pages function and, when you allow them, help us understand how the site is used.
How we use cookies
PineWay File uses essential cookies required for basic site behaviour (including remembering your cookie preference) and, only if you Accept on the banner, analytics cookies that help us see aggregate visit patterns. Rejecting analytics does not block browsing, forms, or content.
Your choice is stored in localStorage under the key pinewayfile_cookie_consent.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| pinewayfile_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject preference for the cookie banner | Until cleared (localStorage) | PineWay File |
| session_routing | Maintains basic session continuity for form submission feedback where applicable | Session | PineWay File |
| _pw_analytics | Counts page views in aggregate when analytics are accepted | 6 months | PineWay File (first-party) |
Exact analytics cookie names may vary slightly with hosting configuration; they are only set after Accept.
Managing or disabling cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner when it appears. You can also clear site data for filepineway.click in your browser settings, which resets the banner. Browser controls can block cookies entirely; essential storage for your preference may then be unavailable and the banner may reappear.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; that request can expose your IP address to Google under their terms. We do not load third-party advertising cookies. See our privacy notice for broader data practices.
Impact of disabling
Blocking all cookies or rejecting analytics does not remove access to commissions information, rates, or the contact form. Some preference memory (such as hiding the banner) may not persist if storage is blocked.
