Data we collect
- Enquiry forms: name, email, optional service interest, site type, and message content.
- Email and phone: correspondence needed to schedule visits and deliver commissions.
- Site visit notes: names and roles of people you introduce on site, only as needed for the engagement.
- Technical data: essential cookies and, if you accept, limited analytics cookies — see our cookies page.
We do not ask for payment card details through this website.
Purposes and lawful bases
- Responding to enquiries and providing quotes — legitimate interests / steps prior to contract.
- Delivering commissioned work and invoicing — performance of a contract.
- Keeping basic business records — legal obligation and legitimate interests.
- Understanding site traffic when analytics cookies are accepted — consent.
Retention
Enquiry messages without a resulting contract are usually kept up to 24 months. Client project files and invoices are retained for up to 7 years for accounting and dispute needs, then deleted or anonymised where practicable.
Sharing
We use email and hosting providers who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. We may share information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
International transfers
Our primary operations are in the United Kingdom. If a processor stores data outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses where required.
